Landscape

Here is my landscape picture:

I took this picture near the ravine at the back of the school. When I took the picture it was during the beginning of the year, I did not know we were going to do a landscape photo in the future. When I took the picture I just wanted to test out the camera, but when I looked old pictures I spotted this and thought it was good. The aperture was 9, so it let a lot of light in. I edited this in photoshop and adjusted the brightness because I felt the grass looked a bit dull. I used a tripod to take this picture, so you can see some of the fence because I couldn't raise it. I believe the purpose of the picture has been accomplished and it looks very good.

Fill in the frame

Here is my first fill in the frame picture:

As you can see, the purpose of the picture is to fill in the frame of the tree. My aperture on the first picture was 5.3 and on the second it was 5. I used a tripod to take both of the pictures. The tree was kind of slanted, but when I took this out in the school field it looked good to me at the time. My intention was to fill in the frame, and I think this picture accomplished the purpose. I did not edit the picture in photoshop because I believe it was good enough when taken and did not need adjusting.

Here is my second fill in the frame picture:

As you can see  for this picture the thing I focused on was the "Reserved Parking" sign. When I took the picture it was a cloudy day so I adjusted the first picture on photoshop and adjusted the brightness. The aperture for the first picture was 6.6 and the second one was 6. I used a tripod for the first picture and had to try to the best of my ability to take a good picture for the second one. I believe my intention was accomplished. I also did crop a bit of the second picture because it didn't exactly fill in the frame. Overall, I am happy with it.

Rule of Thirds

Here is my first rule of third picture:

I took this picture in the school field. On photoshop I adjusted the brightness because the picture was a bit underexposed when I took it. My intention for the photos was to make a rule of thirds picture with the pine tree, I think I accomplished what I intended to do. My aperture was at 6, but I think I could have made it higher to let more light in. When the picture was taken it was pretty cloudy, so I believe increasing the aperture would help.

Here is my second rule of third picture:

I took this picture in the ravine. As you can see my intention was to put the structure made out of branches and sticks in the thirds. I used a tripod to take this picture and did not adjust anything on photoshop because I believe it is good as it is. The aperture for the picture was 4. The weather was pretty sunny when this picture and there was a forest in the background. Overall, I am impressed with the picture and hope my intentions were made.
